CV

Tone Bere disputerte i april 2013 med doktorgradsavhandlingen «Mechanisms of injuries in World Cup alpine skiing». Formålet med hennes arbeid var å beskrive hvordan skader skjer i World Cup alpint, basert på systematiske videoanalyser, med hovedfokus på fremre korsbåndskader.

Tone er utdannet fysioterapeut fra Høgskolen i Bergen (2002) og tok mastergradstudiet i idrettsfysioterapi ved Norges idrettshøgskole (2008). Etter avlagt doktorgrad, flyttet hun til Qatar og jobbet to år i en postdoc-stilling ved Aspetar Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, et samarbeidsprosjekt med Senter for idrettsskadeforskning.

Tone er nå ansatt som forskningskoordinator ved Ortopedisk klinikk på Oslo universitetssykehus Ullevål.
