Description

Aim: To investigate if an 8-week high-volume Copenhagen adduction protocol is more effective than a low-volume protocol in increasing the hip adduction strength at 8 weeks in sub-elite female football players.

Methods: Players from three sub-elite female football teams were individually randomised to either high- or low-volume training group. We measured isometric hip adduction strength before and after the intervention, as well as during training week 4 and 6.
