The IOC Advanced Team Physician Course is now in Norway! The 4th edition has been organized by the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center and Olympiatoppen, is taking place in Oslo.

80 clinicians from all over the world were gathered to share new knowledge with faculty and experienced colleagues, and challenged each other in open discussions.
The first IOC Advanced Team Physician Course was organized in Svolvær, Lofoten in 2008, and then at Stanford University in 2009 and in Calvi, Corsica in 2011. These courses are geared towards the practical issues of working with high-level athletes in a team sports setting. We will address controversial topics and present new evidence on diagnosis and treatment. We will challenge existing dogma.
Upon arrival in Oslo, delegates have received cases illustrating specific scenarios, which will be addressed through small-group discussions, plenary lectures and panel discussions.
